Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Flowwave is operated by Flowwave, based in the Netherlands. You can reach us at [email protected] or through in-app support.

2. The service

Flowwave reads data from your smart meter and connected energy devices and presents it as a dashboard with forecasts, insights and notifications. Features depend on the devices you connect and the data they provide.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be able to enter into a contract under the laws of your country. One person, one account.

4. Plans & payment

The core service is free. Prois an optional €1/month supporter tier — no features are locked behind a paywall; it simply helps cover running costs and adds a few thank-you perks. When paid plans go live, billing is handled by our payment provider, charges are shown before you confirm, and you can cancel at any time. Supporter contributions are not refundable for partial months unless required by law.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service unlawfully or to send data you don’t have the right to send;
• probe, overload, disrupt or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service;
• reverse-engineer, resell or abuse the service or its APIs;
• submit reviews or content that is misleading, offensive or infringing.

6. Your data & content

Your energy data is yours — you can export it any time and delete your account to remove it. Reviews you submit may be shown publicly on our website once approved by us; you can edit or remove your review at any time. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability & “as is”

We work hard to keep Flowwaverunning, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Forecasts and insights are estimates and should not be relied on as the sole basis for important decisions. We may change, suspend or discontinue features.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Flowwave is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for loss arising from your reliance on forecasts, estimates or the availability of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You can stop using Flowwave and delete your account at any time from your Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We’ll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and any disputes will be subject to the competent courts there, unless mandatory consumer law gives you other rights.
